Beautiful Bags
Inspired by The Bahamas

"I sewed up accent pillows for our home in The Bahamas, had extra fabric and started creating makeup bags"

About Jill Schoenhofer

My love for sewing began at the age of 12, when I learned the craft from my mother who grew up in England during World War II. In those days, sewing was
more than a creative outlet—it was a necessity. That early foundation stayed
with me throughout my life.

Years later, after purchasing a home in Nassau, I wanted accent pillows that
reflected the tropical beauty of the island. I found the perfect outdoor
fabrics and began sewing my own. With leftover material, I started creating
tote bags and makeup bags, and before long, my passion evolved into a business.

Today, I design and offer a collection of unique travel bags made especially
for women on the go. Each piece blends practicality with personality, crafted
with care and style. I’m also proud to have invented the Bathing
Suit Bag
—a fresh, innovative solution for women who travel, now
making its debut on the market.

Every stitch tells a story—from wartime England to island-inspired
design—and I’m delighted to share that journey through my bags.
